#CelebratingValentine
Share a Valentine’s Day moment!
This Giveaway Hop was organized by Reading Romances!
One of my favorite Valentine’s Day memories was bringing home our second foster greyhound. Our daughter (9 years old at the time) had fallen hard for our first foster greyhound and when it was time to pick up the next one, she declared we were keeping it no matter what. She’s a headstrong sort of kid.
The dogs came in on February 13th and the dog slated for our home was a red fawn with a white heart-shape spot about the size of a quarter on the back of his neck. Our daughter saw this a sign and the two of them were inseparable from that point forward.
The only thing that kept Brody from sleeping in her bed was his habit of stealing fluffy type toys. He knew the difference between his toys and kids toys, he just didn’t care. And he wasn’t destructive about it, just sneaky and slobbery.
Whenever our foster greyhounds went to their forever homes, our daughter came home and hugged Brody to ease the parting. When she wasn’t feeling well, Brody shared the couch (a big concession) and when she needed a candid picture for school applications, Brody was by her side.
Picking up Brody will forever be one of my favorite Valentine’s memories because of the extraordinary love and joy he brought to our family.

There is no like button on Amazon. Not sure why it’s disappeared. I thought it was me at first. LOL
We spend Valentine’s Day quietly at home. We rarely go out on Valentines Day because it is just too crazy; the restaurants are crowded, the wait is long, the service is mediocre, I always feel rushed, and the prices are inflated. It’s just not worth it. ….. So we went out on Monday and had a very nice romantic dinner at one of my favorite restaurants. My hubby gave me a Chocolate Rose and I gave him his favorite candy (Snickers Minis) in a heart shaped box.
Thanks for being part of the hop and for the chance to win.

Yeah, Renee. It looks like Amazon took those off. At least for now. Strange, but true. 😉 Thanks for trying and good luck in the giveaway!
My favorite way to spend valentines day is to do something special with hubby without the kidos… and just enjoy the adult time.

I couldn’t find any “Like” buttons on any kind of books. I’ve heard a lot of people saying they couldn’t find any either. So I liked your author page to like one of the comments above.
Mine is to stay home or go out for a nice dinner with my kids and spending the day with them and my grandson. I’m divorced and single and even if I wasn’t I would still want to spend the day with my family. Thank you for a chance to win and for being a part of this fun and awesome blog hop!!
