Did March come in like a lion or a lamb for you? Around here we had some wonderfully balmy days giving us a welcome taste of spring. Of course another dose of cold is headed our way, but cold is always a relative term around here (and easier to deal with when there’s no snow to shovel)
The kids (away at school in western New York) tell me they love the snow and related fun. More power to them. LOL I’ll stick with the blustery days we enjoy this time of year, as well as the warmth of the sunshine. Bandit is more than happy to get me out of the house so he can romp as much as possible.
You might remember the tulip tree we uprooted last fall when we redesigned the front beds? (click here for the October post with pictures) Well, it survived and gave us a smattering of gorgeous pink blossoms before the heavy rains came and knocked them all down.
As of this update Debra Webb and I have launched the complete Dangerous Protectors trilogy with Against the Wall (Dec/14) Too Far Gone (Jan/15), and Nothing To Lose (Feb/15). Of course you can still find our first two titles for Harlequin Intrigue: The Hunk Next Door and Heart of a Hero. To Honor and To Protect comes out June 1st!
I’m happy to let you all know we have more books planned for both Harlequin Intrigue and our own D & R Books endeavors. (writing with Deb is amazing!!)
Thanks to all of you who’ve posted reviews and shared your love of these characters with us. It’s been so much fun working with the sexy heroes of the Guardian Agency as well as Thomas Casey’s elite Specialists.
My next independent fiction title, Runaway Secret will be available on April 23rd (you can preorder your copy today!) This romantic suspense novella features two star-crossed lovers who are reunited at last to outwit a dangerous drug smuggler bent on revenge.
Excerpts and more for Runaway Secret will be coming soon. Newsletter subscribers, keep an eye out for an email closer to the release date for a chance to read an advanced review copy.
And just for authors, March brings the release of The Writer’s Survival Guide a labor of love and exercise in sanity with my friend and critique partner, author Kimberly Hope. Be sure to check it out or share it with a friend who’s on the crazy adventure that is the writing life.
Live the adventure!
p.s. Congratulations to Sherry S, Ellen M, Tracey D, and Lizzie Beth! They were winners of the February prizes! Keep an eye out for March’s prize package, posting next week!
I love your books and look forward to next one. Please enter me in the contest.
Thanks, Nancy!
