If I had to choose a favorite month in 2016, this might be it! After years of practice I’ve learned to enjoy the moment, which may be part of by absolute happiness, but it really comes down to having our family reunited for a bit, a chance to relax and enjoy early summer in South Carolina, and celebrate the rewards after months and years of hard work!
The graduation festivities for our daughter were a blast (despite the wear and tear of travel and move out) and as a family we’ve had a chance to dig in and enjoy the games our son has been creating. Awesome stuff around here!
Top 5 Things I’m Looking Forward To In June! (in no particular order
1) The release of An Heirloom Amber! The cover art and advanced review copy was released in May to the Join the Adventure newsletter subscribers so I’m thrilled to post the cover art here now. The next story in the Knight Traveler series will be available on June 14th! This shorter tale is the precursor to the next novel (the book that will feature Sir Kay’s story). You can read more and find the preorder link here!
2) Some long-awaited girl time with my daughter before she heads off to her first job after graduating college.
3) Getting back to my routine and physical activity I enjoy. In April I was on restricted activity because of some back trouble and after the road trip and recovery, I’m slowly but surely regaining my previous pace!
4) Working on the next fiction adventure. I went almost six days without writing any fiction while we were traveling and it nearly drove me (and my family) crazy. I love bringing readers new books and – hallelujah – my June schedule is jam-packed with writing time!
5) Continuing to help other writers stay motivated to reach their goals through periscope.tv broadcast and new non-fiction products and books. It has been such an incredible journey already connecting with writers at all stages through these great new tech tools!
Live the adventure!
