Writer Wedensday #20

Writing is a process and each of us develops that process differently. What is universal however, is that we all need time to grow.

With every book I complete, I learn something new about myself, my process, and the message I want most to share with my readers. Don’t dump on yourself or wreck your writing time by demanding perfection out of each minute and individual word. Get the words on the paper. Take time to find your ideal time to write fresh pages and your ideal time to revise or research.

Perseverance is essential for a healthy writing life. The best thing you can do is to stick with it, day in and day out, project by project, giving your words, heart, and mind time to grow.

Live the writing adventure!
