Q: What motto do you live by?
FC: For most of my life it was a the little red hen approach: I’ll do it myself. Now, I’m more about teamwork, since it made all the dreams I was afraid to have come true.
Q: Would you rather have steak or burgers?
FC: Doesn’t get much better than a good steak grilled to perfection. Especially when I get to to share the meal with family and friends.
Q: When did you know Kelsey was the one?
FC: I’d say her perfect timing was the first sign, showing up almost the exact minute I needed her. But her compassion along with her amazing mind won my heart quicker than anything else.
Q: What did you want to be when you grew up?
FC: I’d been groomed for a business career, but my interests veered toward the sciences. Fortunately, I have the best of both worlds as a Quarter Horse breeder.
Q: What kept you and Kelsey apart?
FC: A healthy amount of fear, compounded by a few secrets. Neither one of us is quick to trust, especially when something or someone looks too good to be true.
Q: Would you rather drive a car or motorcycle?
FC: Give me a good horse any day of the week. Barring that, I prefer my pickup truck.
