Writer Wednesday #59

It’s NaNoWriMo month! National Novel Writer’s Month is an opportunity to make a concentrated effort toward your writing goals, with plenty of support along the way.

(Visit NaNoWriMo for full details)

In my opinion, November has become a remarkable and important ‘revolution’ for writers. Between writing meet ups and sprinting groups that meet locally or online, this is an awesome time of year to be a writer.

Remember that writing, and your personal writing goal, makes you special. That desire to share the story of your heart is a unique and wonderful experience.

No matter what you do, whatever is on your heart is worthy of your time and attention and all through November, writers around the world are making time to nurture their goals and dreams.

This is the perfect time to work on your daily writing habits and discipline. Even a few minutes of writing time each day can keep you connected to your project and keep you on track to ‘win’ NaNo and write a 50,000 word novel this month.

Then, when the holidays are over, you’ll be ready to dive in to the editing or revising phase of your process and reclaim your typical productivity.

Live the writing adventure,
