Question: Do you have a favorite birthday memory or favorite way to celebrate?
Answer: A day with nothing to do but get lost in a good book always sounds like the perfect birthday plan for me. As long as there’s cake involved at some point.

Seriously, I’m fairly easy to please and after years of being caught between my divorced parents trying to make my birthday memorable, I learned to enjoy time to myself.
Those trips were packed with love and laughter, two ingredients that make every day feel like a reason to celebrate.
I’m blessed with so many wonderful birthday memories. When I stayed with my grandparents through the summers as a kid, they would take me on fun trips. We went into the mountains one year and to Mexico another. Both trips stick with me today – not just because of my grandma’s amazing homemade birthday cakes – but because of how much fun we had together.
Live the adventure!
