Question: Regan, do you ever collaborate with other authors?
Answer: Absolutely! The above video showcases a few of my collaborative efforts.
My first collaboration was with Debra Webb. I was fortunate early in my career to connect with her at my first writer’s conference. We hit it off and she’s been a fabulous mentor and friend ever since.
When we did start writing together, it’s almost impossible to describe the thrill and nerves I felt when I agreed to team up. I mean, she’s a rockstar and a master storyteller and here I was wondering if she had the wrong number.
We teamed up on fifteen projects or so, several on our own and several for Harlequin Intrigue. It was an amazing experience for me and I’m proud of those book.
Additionally, I’ve teamed up with Kimberly Hope, the Beyond Her Brand team, and Cynthia Bazin for several non-fiction projects.
I’ve learned and grown with each collaboration, honing my strengths and shoring up my weaknesses with the guidance and teamwork from my writing partners.
When you can work with the right partner, collaborating is true joy and I highly recommend it.
