Happy Thanksgiving Day! We’re ready for our traditional viewing of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade, followed by another perfect turkey provided by my husband (he’s an excellent cook!)
Wow! Today is so special, though I try to live with a spirit of gratitude in every season. I’ll post my thank you’s here so the turkey doesn’t get cold while I ramble on at dinnertime!
I’m always thankful for the support of my husband and children and this year they’ve put up with more than the usual as we all dealt with my new limitations and frequent frustration with my new situation.
Of course I’m thankful for my many friends who are such a blessed extension of my family. As an only child friends have always been priceless to me. For every rousing cheer, for every necessary kick in the pants, I give thanks to each one of you for helping me get through another year.
To my internet guru who taught me more than I ever wanted to know about blogging, marketing, accessibility, and computer code: You’re simply the best! Many days I would’ve blindly crashed and burned, but you kept me in the game. Thank you!
My guru also connected me with one of the best graphic designers on the planet! He’s a dream to work with, professional and swift, and he has provided the second editions of both Justice Incarnate and Invasion of Justice with powerful covers that attract readers.
And last but not least, it’s way past time to thank the women who welcomed me to their holiday tables during those lean years when I was working and living far from my own family. Several of the recipes my family can’t live without during the holiday season are straight from your Southern kitchens. Thanks for sharing!
Live the adventure!
