November has arrived in a glorious burst of color… at least that’s what I’m seeing from friends who live where the leaves change. Fall color is just one of the things I’m thankful for. Our October screamed by in a blur of busy happiness. We took Bandit with us to New York for homecoming at the kids’ school and he proved to be an excellent traveler. The kids were thrilled to spend some time loving on him. And in late October family joined us for the most relaxing vacation I’ve had in years.
Top 5 Things I’m Thankful For In November! (in no particular order)
1. A creative new hobby! I learned to paint during our vacation. Maverick, my dedicated writing assistant, naturally made the leap to painting assistant as well. He’s very helpful that way.
2. BIG thanks and gratitude to fans and readers for the super reviews of HER UNDERCOVER DEFENDER (November 1, Harlequin Intrigue). Debra Webb and I are thrilled by the warm reception for one of our favorite books.
3. Broadcasting thanks. I’m participating in the #30daysofthanks on twitter and facebook. Gratitude a great exercise I learned to add to my journal time years ago, but this is my first time participating on social media. I’m loving it!
4. Family is coming, family is coming! We are counting down to a house full over Thanksgiving!
