Oh, we’ve been busy. In the September News post, I shared picture of our landscape ‘remodel’ in progress. Here are the before and afters.
Ta-Dah!!!
Amazing isn’t it! Granted, the after picture was taken on a cloudy day, but it’s a fabulous improvement and such a joy to relax on the porch again. We can see the sidewalk! Even better? Our guests no longer get pickpocketed by the tulip tree.
Three of those azaleas and the tulip tree have been safely relocated to the backyard, which is really improving the views out there as well. (Bandit has been a BIG help – LOL)
And while I might experience a moment’s pause over how fast 2014 is moving, I’m thrilled that it’s October and the heart of my favorite season. It’s not just about the chocolate (though that’s a factor) I love the clear blue skies October brings, the cooler nights, football, marching bands, and that first whisper of anticipation for the holiday season.
This month we’re traveling a bit. I’m headed to the Moonlight and Magnolias conference hosted by the Georgia Romance Writers and later Brilliant Husband and I will enjoy a college homecoming weekend with our brilliant kids!
Stay tuned for more exciting book news coming soon!
