Welcome to Flashback Friday, a new monthly feature. New releases are fabulous and I love creating new characters and bringing new stories to readers, but sometimes it’s good to pause and take a look back.
Long Odds on Open Water, a short story, debuted in August of 2019.
This was a quick adventure and it gave me time to delve a bit deeper into the heart of the relationship between General Riley and his wife, Patricia. They’ve raised five children as a team effort despite the demands and separations of deployments during his Army career. After all this time, they are still wildly in love, and most important to me, they value each other’s strengths more than ever.
Long Odds on Open Water is part of the Riley family series that includes A Soldier’s Honor, His Soldier Under Siege, and the upcoming Escape With the Navy SEAL (coming in December of 2020).
Two additional short stories are also available: Caleb’s Courage and the brand new, Rescuing Mr. Anonymous. The trio of stories is also available as a box set.
You can find all of the Riley family books and short stories at your favorite bookseller and you can click here for more details on all of the books in the series.
Live the adventure!
